Iron Mist Chapter 1 Author: Sam Crawford Artist: Megan Harris __________________________
This is page one of the epically bloody series that Sam came up with. Do not be fooled by the innocence; do not start the manga and want to read more unless you're cool with some disturbing images of murder.
This page is innocent though, so no need for me to put up road blocks to access.
I did the girl speaking in Japanese just 'cause I can xPPPP. She's saying, (for those of you who don't know), "Um... good morning." "Nice to meet you." ______________________________
DUDES!! I need as much feed back on my art as possible; please tell me how you think I screwed up- character design, background, anything!!
I'd say for the most part this is a sharp-looking manga. I'm not really into the Higurashi-type manga, but I'll keep reading never the less! Now, for some constructive critisism: The only thing I'd like to point out is in the second pannel, Kira's blushing should be moved down just a tiny bit since it just looks a bit off-modeled high up like that. The other thing is, in the third pannel her mouth is kind of colored oddly. To be honest it probably doesn't need to be colored at all.
Yeah, I was thinking of taking the scratch-in out of her face; thought it was too much.
Still the blush sits on the top of her cheeks and when you think where her eye lands...
ANYwho, NO it's NOT Higurashi: Iron Mist has much more development and struggle; the killings aren't random or even for shock effect, but instead, they're an integral part of the story and it's character development, just like the romance between Kiyo and Rise.

Splendid job, yet again!
